How will I know what size skip I need? You can call us for advice or click here to go to our skip sizes. Useful tip- A 2 yard skip fits approx 20 rubble bags in to it. A 3 yard fits approx 30, a 4 yard fits approx 40 and a 6 yard approx 60.
Where can you drop a skip? Skips cannot be placed on the highway without a permit, correct signage and lights. Please contact us if you cannot find a suitable off road location and we will do our best to help you get a skip licence from the local authority. Alternatively, we may be able to organise a wait and load facility.
How long can I keep the skip? We hire our skips out on a 2 week basis. This can be extended depending on availability.
How do I pay for the skip? We accept cash, cheque or credit/debit card. The cash or cheque is to be given to the driver on delivery of the skip and credit/debit card payment is taken over the phone.
What is classed as hazordous waste? Hazardous waste can not be put in to any of our containers. This includes asbestos, tyres, fridges, freezers, batteries, television and computer screens, cooler cabinets, liquid waste, gas cylinders and flourescent tubes. Containers with any of these items in them will not be removed.
Where does my waste go after the skip is collected? Your waste is transported to our licenced Waste tranfer and treatment facility.
How do I book my skip? You can book by calling 0208 452 0154 or 0208 452 4880. Or fill in the contact us form and we will usually return your call within the hour, during office hours.
How much can I put in a skip? All skips MUST be level loaded (no higher than the sides). Any skips found to be overloaded will not be removed due to road safety regulations.
